Location

BSDU, Jaipur is strategically situated at Mahindra World City, a multiproduct Special Economic Zone based on the concept of an 'Integrated Business City', that is home to prestigious firms like JCB, Mahindra, Infosys, ICICI Bank, RS India, TTK Healthcare, and Ball Corporation.

It is located at just 45 min drive from both Jaipur International Airport and Railway Station.

The classrooms are equipped with projection and audio-visual equipment to facilitate effective curriculum delivery through multimedia presentations and online resources.

Spacious Well-Equipped Labs

BSDU has state-of-the-art, well-equipped and maintained laboratories & workshops for all skill Faculties.

The University has a firm commitment to promote practical excellence which is exemplified by its 'One Student–One Machine' concept. Each student works on one machine and each batch size is limited to 15 students for effective hand-on learning.

Sports

BSDU believes in building an all-round personality including physical fitness for its students.

It provides adequate outdoor and indoor sports facilities. These facilities include well-maintained Volleyball and Football grounds, carom, chess, table tennis, etc.

Hostel

BSDU offers a comfortable hostel facility separately for both boys and girls. It is a home away from home, equipped with indoor games facilities, common rooms, and an air-cooled mess.

The mess serves four meals per day ensuring students have access to nutritious and delicious food. Hot water is provided during winters. Twenty-four-hour water and electricity supply is ensured.

Strict security measures are taken to ensure safety of the students. Every hostel is supervised by a resident warden, who is responsible for maintaining a positive and supportive environment.

Hostel Fee
  • Rs 36,600 per semester for Boarding & Lodging
  • Hostel Charges include both Hostel Stay (Non-AC) and Mess/Dining charges.
  • Electricity will be charged as per actual consumption.
  • This Fee Structure is valid for the Academic Year 2024-25

IT Infrastructure

BSDU has well-equipped and maintained Computer Labs, with the latest computing facilities. Around 350 PCs/Laptops are provided to faculty members and trainers, to enable them to use online resources and PowerPoint presentations in class.

Many licensed Software for learning have been deployed such as SolidWorks, Pytha, RoboStudio, etc. High-speed internet connectivity of 100 Mbps is available on the campus.

The entire campus, including the Hostels, is Wi-Fi enabled and protected through a Sophos firewall.

BSDU IT Infrastucture

Medical Assistance

BSDU has a comprehensive medical aid facility with essential medications, oxygen cylinders, and more.

The trainers for the Medical Nursing Assistant (MNA) program are also qualified personnel and are available for necessary assistance.

An ambulance is available on campus round the clock. In addition, we have arrangements with a hospital which is located just 8 km from the campus.

All the employees and students are covered under a group medical insurance scheme.

Central Library

BSDU Knowledge Resource Center (KRC) has a vast repository of both print and electronic resources that include books, print journals, magazines, newspapers, and e-databases to be magazines, newspapers, and e-databases to be used as reference materials.

The KRC is also an institutional member of the Developing Library Network (DELNET) and National Digital Library of India (NDLI), Shodhganga, for sharing the resources among its member libraries.

The Library is fully automated with KOHA-integrated Library Management Software. All the activities of the library are computerized, including smart ID cards and barcoded documents and an Online Public Access.

The KRC provides various specialized services to the users i.e. CAS, news alert, current affairs, reference services, digital archiving, online public access catalogue, etc. The library’s hybrid collection includes:
