Overview

The B.Voc Program in Automotive Skills Education offers a unique opportunity to join an industry-integrated program, aligning with the Swiss Dual system of Vocational Education.

The program is designed to develop specialists in two broad industry verticals - Automotive Specialist in Mechanical & Mechatronics & Automotive Specialist in Paint and Bodywork.

Programs Offered

B.Voc in Automotive Skills


The courses offered by Faculty of Automotive Skills are conducted in collaboration with the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), an apex body of more than 15,000 automotive dealerships across India that is committed to support the internship and placement of the students.

Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 10+2 in any stream, or
  • 2 years of ITI after 10th or
  • Polytechnic Diploma holders are eligible for lateral entry admission

Selection Procedure :
Admission will be through an Entrance Exam followed by a personal interview.

Workplace Training-III

  • First Year

    Basic knowledge about the automobile service industry in the role of Automotive Service Technician, Auto Electric Technician, Body Shop Technician, and Paint Technician.

  • Second Year

    Promotion to higher roles as Senior Service Technician, Body Shop Advisor, Diagnostic Technician, and Service Front office executive.

  • Third Year

    Further promotion to Automotive Service Advisor, Automotive Body Shop Supervisor, Floor Supervisor, EV Technocrat, Technical trainer, and Fleet Manager.

  1. Applications in the prescribed format for undergraduate programs (B.Voc) are invited from eligible candidates.
  2. After reviewing the applications, selected candidates are invited for the BSDU Common Admission Test 2024.
  3. Qualified candidates from the entrance test will appear before the interview panel for personal interviews.
  4. After compiling all the assessment weightage, a merit list of successful candidates is prepared and notified to the candidates.
  5. All successful candidates are then called for counseling sessions, document verification, and fee payment as per the notified schedule to complete the admission modalities.

*For all courses, an additional fee of Rs 6,000 will be collected in the 1st semester. This includes a Rs 1,000 registration fee and a Rs 5000 caution money deposit. The caution money is refundable upon completion of the B.Voc program.

Fee to be deposited within seven days of receiving provisional admission letter.
