BSDU Jaipur select undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts through a merit-based system that combines several criteria, which may include performance in last qualifying exam or national examinations (Board examinations, JEE, etc.), BSDU Entrance Test, and interviews conducted by the respective faculties involving industry partner as applicable.

Why BSDU
Applications in the prescribed format for undergraduate programs (B.Voc) are invited from eligible candidates as per the notified dates in each year. The form is included in the Prospectus or the interested candidate can Apply Online..
Entrance Test
After reviewing the applications, selected candidates are invited for an entrance test (as applicable) for admission to the various courses at the University. Entrance Tests predominantly cover areas such as General English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, and basic knowledge of the related subject area.
Personal Interview
Qualified candidates from the entrance test will appear before the interview panel for personal interviews. The interview panel may ask about various aspects of the applicant's background, experiences, academic interests, career goals, extracurricular activities, and personal attributes. Likewise, the applicant also has the opportunity to ask questions about the institution, the program, or any concerns they might have.
Declaration of Result
After compiling all the assessment weightage, a merit list of successful candidates is prepared and notified to the candidates. All successful candidates are then called for a counseling and document verification session as per notified schedule to complete the admission modalities.
Commencement of Classes
The university notifies an academic calendar at the start of each semester. The commencement date of classes is given in the academic calendar and has to be strictly followed by every student.
Documentation for Admission
The following documents are required at the time of admission:
- 5 Passport size photographs.
- Marksheet of class X (carrying the date of birth).
- Marksheet and certificate of 10+2/ITI/Diploma/ Qualifying exam.
- Marksheet of entrance exam (e.g. IIT JEE) wherever applicable.
- Aadhar card.
- SC/ST/OBC/Minority certificate wherever applicable.
- Migration & Transfer certificate.
- Blood Group Report
Modes of Payment of Fees
BSDU has multiple options for efficient and secure fee payment procedures for its students. The following are the different modes of fee payment:

- POS/ Demand draft or CTS Cheque deposit at University Campus, Finance and Accounts department, Administrative Block, DTA-005-001 & 002, Domestic Tariff Area, SEZ, Mahindra World City, Ajmer Road, Jaipur.
- Demand draft/CTS cheque by post /courier at University Campus, Jaipur.
Important Points to Remember
- Fee Deposition Time: 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
- Please draw the CTS cheque/ Demand draft in favour of "Bhartiya Skill Development University" from any recognized Bank, payable at JAIPUR.
- Please mention your name, form no. and contact number on the backside of the cheque/draft.
- Please ensure sufficient balance in the account before depositing the Fee by Cheque. Cutting & overwriting are not allowed.
- In case of a Cheque Return, students will not be allowed in class with immediate effect & legal action will be taken under the Negotiable Instrument Act. (Demand draft / CTS Cheque Return charge 500/-).

Note: All B.Voc courses are of 6 semesters duration with Semesters I, III & V at BSDU and Semesters II, IV, & VI at Industry.

- 36,600/- per semester for Boarding & Lodging.
- ● Electricity & Other Charges are to be paid separately as per Individual consumption.
- This Fee Structure is valid for the Academic Year 2024-25.
Caution Money Deposit
- Refundable and will be collected at the time of Admission only.
Fee Refund Policy
In pursuance of the guidelines provided by the UGC on the above courses, Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU) will henceforth follow the following rules and regulations for a refund of fees and non-retention of original certificates of students admitted to this university. The refund of fees will be as given in the table below:

BSDU Jaipur is committed to making its world-class education accessible & affordable for students from all walks of life. To promote equitable and inclusive Skill Education in line with the NEP 2020, the following fee concessions are offered to students.
1. Fee Concessions
1.1. Fee Concessions for Girls Students and Transgender Individuals
All-female candidates and Transgender Individuals are entitled to one-time 10% tuition fee concession for the admission in 2024 session
1.2. Fee Concession for Wards of Defence Personnel (Serving and Retired) )
One-time 10% concession in Tuition fees, will be awarded to Sons/Daughters of Armed Forces/Para Military Forces/Police Force Personnel.
1.3. Fee Concession for Socio-Cultural Identities
One-time 10% concession in Tuition fees, will be awarded to Sons/Daughters of individuals belonging to socio-cultural identities (such as SC, ST, OBC).
1.4. Differently-abled students
One-time 10% concession in Tuition fees will be awarded to differently-abled students with 30% or higher impairment.
1.5. Economically Weaker Section
One-time 10% concession in Tuition fees will be awarded to students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section
1.6. BSDU students joining the next Higher Degree in the University
BSDU Students who have completed any degree at the University and who join the University for a higher degree, will be allowed a 10% concession in Tuition fees.
2. A student can avail of only one fee concession at a time
BSDU has tied up to help students to avail of education loans easily from a number of banks.
Education Loans
The education loans for the students of BSDU are offered based on the credit history of the co-applicant and academic performance of the applicant.

FAQs
Q. What is the eligibility criteria for availing financial aid?
The education loan is sanctioned on the basis of the financial standing of the applicant. It is not based on scholastic merit, sports qualifications or any other non-financial factors.
Q. Is a co-applicant necessary for an education loan?
Yes, a co-applicant is required for an education loan for all the courses. A co-borrower can either be the applicant’s parents or spouse, father-in-law, mother-in-law (in case the applicant is married).
Q. What is a holiday/interest free/moratorium period?
A moratorium period is a time during the loan term when the borrower is not required to make any repayment. The repayment period commences once the borrower starts working or the holiday period is over (whichever is earlier).
Q. What is Credit History?
The Credit Bureau of India Limited (CIBIL), maintains a credit history that keeps a track of a person’s past repayments and credit card bills. It is important to have a good credit score with CIBIL, if a person wishes to avail a loan in a hassle–free manner.

Q. What steps Bhartiya Skill Development University has taken to support new students in taking admission?
Bhartiya Skill Development University has taken multiple initiatives to support prospective candidates to pursue their higher studies in best possible way:
- Provisional admission can be taken by paying a nominal fee of Rs. 1000 only.
- Liberal refund policy as per UGC norms.

Q. I’m interested in taking admission, but my board/university exams are awaited. Can I take admission without having 12th grades/ marks.
Yes, you can take Provisional admission without final grades/marks. However, you need to furnish your documents during the univeristy notified document verificaiton process.
Q. What is the last date of admissions?
22nd July 2024 is the last date of admissions.
Q. How I am going to pay my fee?
You can pay it online. Multiple online methods are available like credit card/debit card/online banking for payment. Pay Online
Q. Is Hostel facility available at University?
Yes, there is separate Hostel facility for both Boys and Girls.
