Establishment of BSDU Jaipur is recognized and approved by the State Government. The University has been incorporated by the Government of Rajasthan through legislation of theBhartiya Skill Development University Jaipur Act 2017(Act No. 3 of 2017) and was notified vide Notification No. F.2(4) Vidhi/2017 dated 30th March 2017 in the Rajasthan Gazette.

Recognized by University Grant Commission – UGC
The UGC has included Bhartiya Skill Development University Jaipur in its list of universities vide UGC letter no. F. 8-14/2017 (CPP-I/PU) dated 04 August 2017.
UGC Expert Committee visited Bhartiya Skill Development University Jaipur on 31st January and 1st February 2020 to ascertain norms and standards and certified it as a ’Model University in the field of Skill Education’
University Grants Commission approved the establishment of BSDU under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956.
All the Skill Based B.Voc and M.Voc Courses of Bhartiya Skill Development University Jaipur is approved under the National Skill Qualifications Framework (NSQF).
Bhartiya Skill Development University, Jaipur is a member of the Association of Indian Universities.
