Bhoop Singh, Bachelor of Library and Information Science and Master of Library and Information Science from the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has completed his Ph. D. in Library and Information Science on “Quality of Work life and Professional Stress among Library and Information Professionals of Engineering Colleges of Rajasthan” in 2014. He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of Library and Information Science. Earlier he has worked as Librarian at the Rajdhani Institute of Technology and Management, Sri Balaji College of Engineering and Technology, and Seedling Academy of Design, Technology & Management, Jaipur. He has published more than 20 research papers in reputed Journals and International & National conference proceedings. He has co-guided one Ph.D. research scholar and one M. Lib Science project of IGNOU. Bhoop Singh has been awarded the Best Librarian award in the year 2016 by Rajasthan Technical Library Association. He is a life member of the Indian Library Association New Delhi, Rajasthan Technical Library Association, and Madras Library Association, Chennai. He has attended many short terms training programs, workshops, and FDPs. His areas of research interest include open-access resources, Digital Library, Discovery search engines, and Public Library.
