B.Voc. in Automotive Skills
The B.Voc. program is modular in nature with multiple exit points at Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and B.Voc. Each of the six semesters carries 30 credits, resulting in a total of 180 credits for B.Voc.
Objectives
- To train the students for multiple skill sets under the domain of Automotive Service like General Service, Repair and Overhauling of mechanical parts, body repairs and spray painting.
- To impart skill sets pertaining to NSQF level 7 in at least one job role/profile in service sector of automotive industries.
- To develop the ability in students to work in the capacity of Service Advisor/Floor Supervisor/Workshop Manager/ Body Shop Manager/ Paint Shop Manager in any Automotive Service station of companies like Maruti, Hyundai, Toyota, Mahindra, Volkswagen, Tata, Ford etc.
- To train & equip the students with knowledge and understanding to start his/her own enterprise of Vehicle Service, Wheel Care, Body Repairs or Refinish Painting.

Eligibility Criteria
10+2 PCM orITI after 10th or Polytechnic Diploma will be considered as equivalent to 10+2.
Selection Procedure
Admission will be through an Entrance Exam or based on the merit of the qualifying examination.

Career Prospects
Undergoing the B.Voc. Program in Automotive skills will equip the students with all necessary and essential attributes to service, maintain and over haul various types of automobiles. This in turn will make them ready for the huge market of service and maintenance as well as proficiency in running their own entrepreneurial venture.
The students will be eligible for various positions, starting from entry level in the automobile service sector, of various brands of cars and tractors. Apart from above opportunities M.Voc. additionally will provide the opportunity to become a skills trainer/teacher in any Skills University, India or abroad.
